Hall Farms Straw Wattles

Keeping sediment where it belongs on active construction sites, steep slopes and wet areas can be a tough challenge. Hall Farms Straw Wattles protect construction perimeters, slow stormwater runoff and prevent sediment migration. These 100% natural fiber filled products can dramatically reduce surface sheet erosion and offer superior filtration capacity. When compared to straw bales and silt fence, its lower profile facilitates effective filtration without an undesirable damming effect that can result in erosion on the sides and downstream of a structure.

Why use Hall Farm Straw Wattles?

*Quicker to install than straw bales and silt fence resulting in lower project costs
*Used for erosion control, sediment control and storm water runoff control
*Help to stabilize slopes by shortening the slope length and by slowing, spreading and filtering overland water flow
*Can also be used on flat ground projects such as urban development construction sites
*They can be snaked around storm drains to protect them from sediment pollution
*Palletized for easy handling and loading
